The above amount will be added to your account for future use on the bus. With each trip, a single ride fare will be deducted from the balance, allowing you to “pay as you go.”
This account will use fare capping to ensure you always get the best price for your ride. Each fare builds toward a daily or monthly limit, so you will never pay more than necessary. For example: The adult single fare is $1.50, and the adult daily fare limit caps at $3.00. So if you take two rides in one day, you will pay $3.00, which is the daily fare limit. Any additional trips you take that day would not pull any more money from your account. This daily fare capping would reset the next day, while also building toward a 31-day fare limit.
This fare capping feature allows you to customize your payments to your schedule, without having to invest in a larger payment upfront. You can add money to your account as often as you like. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new funds to become available.
